At African Unlimited Escapes, we believe luxury travel should be more than an indulgence; it should be an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. That is why we are dedicated to supporting both the communities and ecosystems that make Kenya extraordinary.
A central focus is the Habitat Protection and Restoration of the Eastern Mountain Bongo, a critically endangered antelope threatened by habitat loss and poaching. Through strategic partnerships, we support initiatives that protect remaining habitats and restore degraded areas, ensuring the survival of this remarkable species.
Our commitment extends beyond wildlife. We actively empower local communities, including supporting It’s a Girl Thing, a programme devoted to providing young women in Kenya with education, mentorship, and life skills training. By breaking down barriers and creating opportunities, this initiative fosters independence and long-term empowerment.
In Kibera, one of Africa’s largest informal settlements, creativity flourishes against the odds. Anno’s One Fine Day, founded in 2018 by Krysteen Savane, provides a safe, nurturing space for young creatives to explore their talents and develop skills in visual arts, music, drama, ballet, circus acrobatics, African dance, creative writing, and nail artistry. Many of its students have gained international recognition, starring in films such as SUPAMODO, STYX, SUNBANNED, and SUPASTAZ.
Through its programmes, Anno’s One Fine Day not only cultivates artistic excellence but also preserves cultural heritage, empowers youth with practical skills, and fosters confidence. Supporting this organisation allows travellers to contribute directly to sustainable youth development, ensuring that creativity continues to transform lives in Kibera and beyond.
At African Unlimited Escapes, giving back is more than corporate responsibility; it is a core principle. By supporting these initiatives, we aim to create a lasting legacy that benefits both wildlife and communities. Our vision is a sustainable, responsible tourism industry that preserves Kenya’s natural beauty and cultural heritage for generations to come.
